A hand-knotted Indo-Persian area rug. This hand-knotted wool rug features a color scheme of scarlet red, teal, sky blue, mustard, pumpkin, cream and burgundy. It has an eight pointed petal central medallion with prominent pendants on a scarlet field patterned with lobbed flowers, lancet leaves , and palmettes. It has a carnation meander border bracketed on either side with alternating dot guard borders. It has natural warp fringe to either end and it is not marked.
