Jim Gott Pittsburgh Pirates Game Model Bat. Bat is a Louisville Slugger 125. The knob has Jim’s number ‘38’ C-243 4-32 in black sharpie marker. Bat is signed by Jim Gott, Bill Verdon (Manager), Jason Thompson, Ed Ott, Mike Dryer, & others. In 1988 Gott broke Kent Tekulve’s Pirate single-season save record with 34 saves. Jim Gott taught Dennis Quaid to pitch during the filming of The Rookie. All Signatures on this Bat are in black sharpie marker. Please see photos.
