A vintage hand-knotted Persian Bijar area rug. This hand-knotted wool rug features a color scheme of madder red, pale green, golden-yellow, gray,white,navy, and salmon. It features a large diamond shaped medallion on a madder red field with an all over herati pattern. It has a salmon, red,navy and gray samovar pattern main border that is bracketed by carnation meander guard borders. It has natural warp fringe to either end and it is not marked.
