A vintage limited edition reproduction of Benjamin Franklin’s clock of 1757. The wall clock is edition number 312/1000 and was produced during the 1970’s. The clock movement sits atop a wood shelf and features a brass and metal movement. The metal dial face is marked to the front ‘Made in England’ and has a movement that is driven by a chain with weights. The front of the clock has a brass-tone label affixed reading ‘Benjamin Franklin’s Clock, 1757 built in London to his original design by Thwaites and Reed Ltd. founded 1740 No 312 in a limited edition of 1000’ a clear plastic cover fits over the case.
