Antique German Cut Glass Cologne Bottle With 835 Silver Mounts
Item Details
A pair of antique German cut glass cologne bottles with 835 silver mounts. The square bottles have a deeply cut criss-cross diamond patterning to the base with 835 silver pierced caps and mounts. Each bottle is marked with the German national crescent moon Reichsmark and crown and ‘835 WTB’ indicating 835 silver purity and maker’s initials attributed to Wilhelm Binder who registered his mark in 1869. The caps alone weigh approximately 1.565 ozt.
