A limited edition serigraph by artist Philip Bascle, titled Crescent City Classic 1986. This stylized print on paper depicts the city of New Orleans, known by its titular name, in a vertical arrangement of stacked, stylized buildings in a pastel palette. To the lower margins is a lush, overgrown tree with a runner cutting past it. Printed text denoting the title are found to either portion of the composition. Seen near the runner is a handwritten artist signature and print edition, listed 1499 of 3000. The print is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
