Williamsport Foundry Pewter, Wilton Armetale and Other Pewter Tableware

A Williamsport Foundry pewter plate in The Great American Revolution series featuring a depiction of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The back bears the cannon Williamsport Foundry mark along with the initials “JSR” for Jason Samuel Rutledge, the founder of the company, “PVK” for Phillip Vincent Karl the molder, “SBB” for Stephen Barnard Blake, the polisher and “GIF” for Gerald Isaac Fairfield the pattern maker. This is presented with a Wilton Armetale plate with the words ‘Health, Love and Wealth and Time to Enjoy Them’ written around the rim. The final items in the assortment is a small Reed & Barton pewter bowl with a squirrel shaped handle and three Daalderop Royal Holland Pewter bowls with pierced foliate handles.
