Item Details
A late 20th century color lithograph print on paper depicting a humorous poem written in faux Latin text. The text reads,‘O sibili si ergo, fortibuses in ero. Nobili demis trux: sewatis enim? Cowsendux!’. The print includes a decorative first initial and illustrations of seahorses. The unsigned work was printed by The Borges Press. It is presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- scratches, abrasions and edge wear to frame; frame joints are not fully flush.
