Empire Crafts "Castle Rose" and Weidlich "Jenny Lind" Sterling Flatware

A seven-pieced collection of sterling silver flatware. This includes a hollow handle cheese server with stainless blade and a spoon in the Alferd J. Flauder designed Jenny Lind pattern, first introduced in 1938, by Weidlich Sterling Spoon Co. of Bridgeport, CT (active 1901-1950). Also included are a group of five spoons in the Grosvenor N. Allen and Lloyd E. Ressegger designed Castle Rose pattern, first introduced in 1942, by Empire Crafts Corp. of Newark, NJ (active 1930s-1950s). All are marked for silver fineness to the backs. The total approximate weight, excluding the stainless steel blade cheese server, is 4.015 ozt ozt.
