Item Details
A pairing of vintage silver plate pieces including a quadruple plate bride’s basket by Pairpoint Manufacturing Company and a mug by Derby Silver Company. The footed bride’s basket features a floral engraved center with square panels of chased foliate designs around the rim. It has a bail handle with an openwork ornament at the top. The mug features an etched wildflower motif with a scrolled handle and beaded trim along the base. Both items are marked to the undersides.
Condition
- the bride’s basket is bent and misshapen; both items have surface wear including faint scratches and overall tarnish.
