A lithograph on rag paper after an original oil painting titled Bathers by well-listed artist Bob Guccione (American, 1930-2010). This print features a palette of maroon, peach, green, yellow and cobalt blue to depict a loose composition of two nude women posed beneath abstracted trees. This piece is unsigned and unfamed. The item included in this lot comes from The Guccione Collection, sold exclusively through EBTH by digital media company Jerrick. The item originates from the personal archives of Bob Guccione; media mogul, artist, and founder of Penthouse Magazine.

Bob Guccione began his artist endeavors during 1949 when he traveled to Italy with basic paint supplies and a few dollars. Despite never receiving formal artist training he premiered his artwork at the Nassau County Museum of Art and the Butler Institute of American Art. Many of his original sketches and painting were created during his time traveling through Rome, Paris, and London during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Later in life, he founded Penthouse Magazine which halted his career as an artist.
