Sessions Clock Co. Eight-Day Mantel Clock

Item Details

A vintage Sessions Clock Company eight-day mantel clock. The features both half-hour strike capability and cathedral gong. The clock features a black lacquer wooden case with decorative metal lion’s head embellishment to the sides. The front is adorned with three paired fluted columns below a faux stone entablature. There is a hinged circular door with a convex pane of glass which swings open to reveal the ivory tone face with Arabic numerals that is placed behind an ornate gold tone filigree screen with egg and dart bezel. There are two key arbors. The clock retains several paper labels on the back. No key is present. Untested.
