1835 R. Wallace "Floral" Silver Plate Flatware Set
Item Details
A silver plate flatware set in the Floral pattern by 1835 R. Wallace. Designed by Henrik Hillbom and produced between 1902- 1950, this pattern depicts an ornately chased floral motif. The set includes approximately twelve Old French hollow knives with bolsters and stainless steel blades, one cold meat fork, one flat handle master butter knife, one sugar spoon, five tablespoons, twelve teaspoons, and twelve dinner forks. The backs of the handles are marked ‘Sectional Triple, 1835 R. Wallace 12’ and the knife blades are marked ‘1835 R. Wallace 16 DWT’. The items are presented in a wooden tarnish proof chest.
Condition
- some surface wear including scratches and minimal tarnish; the wooden chest is worn.
