Antique Walnut Flatware Chest

Item Details

Antique walnut flatware chest by silverware manufacturer Clemens Oskamp Co. (Cincinnati, 1854-1887). This stately chest is all wood constructed and features a main compartment beneath the hinged lid and a pull out drawer for more storage. The interior is lined in gray velvet and has separators for individual pieces of silverware. Two side handles allow for easy carrying. The piece is marked to interior with maker name.

Condition

- scratching and wear to exterior surfaces
- staining and signs of wear to interior lining, which would benefit from cleaning
