A hand-knotted ornate Persian Qom style pictorial area rug in wool and cotton. The directional rug has triangular floral arrangements along the center of a brick red background flanked by floral columns. This is framed by an unresolved compound border with a navy blue primary band with floral designs flanked by smaller bands of floral chains and geometric design. The rug is finished with short natural cotton warp fringes.
