A 19th C. wood panel depicting the Russian holy icon, Our Lady of Kazan; the protector and patroness of the city of Kazan. Rendered in a Middle Ages perspective. The painting is on a thick and slightly curved wood panel and features earth tones highlighted with light blue and red. Illegible Russian script to lower edge.
