A hand colored etching on paper titled L’Assemble au Salon by Francois Dequevauriller (1745 – 1807) after a work by Nicolas Lavreince (1737 – 1807). This etching depicts a scene of French high society participating in a salon in a highly decorated entertainment room. It includes an inscription in French to the lower margin and is labeled with the etcher’s name to the lower right margin. The etching is presented behind a cream colored mat, behind glass, in a gold tone wooden frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; worn frame finish.
