French Marble Bust

Item Details

A French marble bust. This vintage bust features a woman’s face in marble with a 1920’s style cloche hat and tunic style top that shows evidence of having been gilded at one time. The top is carved in a separate piece of milky quartz with the occasional pink hue and it sits on a pedestal of white marble bearing a brass tag that reads ‘Les Adminstrateurs de la Caisse d’ Epargne, Leur President M. Benezech.’

Condition

- Chips to the head and chin. The head had been broken off and reattached at some point.
