A Chinese Folding Screen

A Chinese six panel folding screen. The screen is made of wood veneer and depicts a scene from nature. The scene pictures birds, both real and mythological, along with trees and flowers in bloom against a black background. The panels of the screen are connected by brass hinges and the feet of the screen are trimmed in brass. The piece is not marked.
