A signed watercolor and graphite sketch of a theater set design. This piece features the frontal view of a stage, surrounded by rich purple drapery edged with gold fringe. Three masks depicting women, with their hair swirling about, stand alone at the center in front a simple purple background. Notes about the scale and measurements of the stage are written in graphite to the margins. The piece appears to be signed ‘Eleanor M Senier’ and is marked ‘IV year’ in graphite to the verso. Presented unframed, on a foam core backing, wrapped in plastic.

Condition

- toning to painting. Mulitple small tears to edges of paper. Creasing throughout. Plastic wrapping is torn.
