J. Bardot Oil Painting of the Seine River

An oil painting on panel of the Seine river by an artist signing the work ‘J. Bardot.’ This painterly piece depicts a group of figures standing toward the left side of the river, which is overlooked by an atmospheric skyline punctuated by Paris’s Eiffel Tower. The piece is signed to its lower right corner and is mounted in a wooden frame with a textile liner and a wire for hanging to its verso.
