Schoenhut "Hattie Pinn" Wooden Jointed Clothespin Doll

A Schoenhut Hattie Pinn wooden jointed clothespin doll. Hattie has an egg-shaped wooden head with flat-cut swivel neck, hand painted facial features, yarn hair, wooden block torso with clothespin-style arms and legs. A clothespin family of dolls was made by the Schoenhut Company ca. 1935. They were named the Pinn family and had six family members of which Hattie was the mother. Printed to the bottom of her foot is ‘Patent Pending copyrighted 1935 E.T.M.’.
