An Etruscan Majolica Syrup Jug. Featured here is an earthenware syrup jug in sunflower motif attributed to Etruscan Majolica. The jug has a pewter top and spout for decanting and handle glazed to look like a branch. The mark on the underside features the correct un-glazed area for the artist and Etruscan Majolica and the stars have been pressed into the clay. The entire jug possesses a clear glaze.

Condition

- Thumb-piece for the pewter decanter has been broken off
