A limited edition offset lithograph by artist Helen Hayse, titled Secretariat. This print on paper depicts the titular, prize winning horse with its groomer, Luther Jones, posed in profile on a winding, dirt road surrounded by lush foliage. To the lower left corner of the composition is an in-plate artist signature, which is complemented to the lower margins with a title, inscription, graphite artist signature and print edition, listed 382 of 500. Also found are two graphite sketches of horses galloping with their jockey, attributed to Hayse. The print is presented under glass in a dark wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
