Set of Audobon "Birds of America" Prints
Item Details
A set of Audubon Birds of America prints selected by Roger Tory Peterson from The MacMillan Company. This copy has 34 of the original 50 prints depicting various North American birds as rendered by celebrated naturalist and artist John James Audobon (1785-1851). The folio box cover is made of tan cloth boards with imprinted title.
Condition
- discoloration, staining, and spine breakage to folio cover
- prints vary in condition from good to fair with more significant yellowing and signs of age
