Two John Ruthven Signed Limited Edition Offset Lithograph Prints of Foxes

Two signed limited edition offset lithograph prints by well-listed and renowned American wildlife illustrator and naturalist John A. Ruthven (Cincinnati, born 1924). The first features fox’s head, that appears to be smiling and is turned slightly to the right, floating on a painterly grayish green background. The second features a frontal view of a fox’s head, it’s tongue peaking out, floating on a beige background. Both are signed in the plate and in graphite to the lower right, and both are numbered 704 out of an edition of 1000 to the lower left magin. Each is presented unframed, on a foam core backing, wrapped in plastic.

Condition

- light toning and foxing to prints. Minor wear to corners of paper. Plastic wrapping of each is torn.

Dimensions

- measures each foam core backing. Each paper measures 10.75" W x 10.75" H.
