Antique Hand-Painted Miniature Portrait on Paper
Item Details
An original hand-painted antique gouache and watercolor miniature portrait on paper. The painting a portrait of a woman wearing an ornate beaded gown, a pink necktie and cloak, and a matching pink headpiece. She gazes to one side with wide blue eyes. The piece is unsigned. It is painted on paper mounted to a thick paperboard backing. The piece is presented behind ovular concave glass in a wooden frame with cast surface texture, gold tone finish, pierced decorations, and a hook for hanging attached to the verso.
Condition
- very light scratching and wear to frame.
