An original hand-painted antique gouache and watercolor miniature portrait on paper by an artist named René. The painting features a portrait of a man wearing a blue uniform, sash, and feathered hat. He gazes towards the viewer as he poses against a pale brown background. The piece is signed to the lower right. It is painted on paper mounted to a thick paperboard backing.
