A watercolor and gouache painting on paper by artist W. L. Rubin, titled Grandmother and Child. This expressive painting depicts an aristocratic woman wearing a navy blue jacket and fur collar holding a child, as they both happily look off into the distance while settled on a wooden bench. To the lower left corner of the composition is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented under glass beneath matting in an olive green and gold tone wooden frame. To the verso is affixed hanging wire and a painted signature and title.
Condition
- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wear to frame finish.
