Antique Hand-Painted Porcelain Portrait
Item Details
An original hand-painted antique portrait miniature on a convex ovular piece of porcelain. The painting features a woman with pale skin, dark curly hair, and a loosely-hanging yellow top. She sits in front a dark background gazing solemnly ahead. The piece is not signed. It is matted in burgundy velvet and presented in a decorative cast metal frame with pierced embellishments and a small hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- surface of porcelain is slightly uneven and has faint pock marks across. Light bending to frame.
