A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan area rug. This rug features a central medallion with pendants on a lozenge field with an arabesque pattern. A compound pattern throughout the spandrels, compound minor borders, and palmette border. This rug features a primarily red palette with dark blues, teal, sand, pink, and burnt mustard. Marked to verso ‘Made in Iran’.
