An vintage machinist tool chest by National Tool and Chest Co. This oak chest circa early 1940s features a main compartment beneath the hinged lid, sitting atop seven smaller drawers of various sizes behind a removable front panel. The interior is lined in green felt and includes a round mirror to underside of lid, and the item is finished with a leather handle. The chest is marked ‘National Tool and Chest Co. Star Chicago, Illinois’ to interior.

- wooden case, leather handle, and metal detailing show signs of age and use including water staining, discoloration, tarnish and cracking
