A vintage postal scale. The piece features a brass and mahogany construction with three included brass weights. The piece rests on a carved mahogany plinth with serpentine front, concave sides and ogee ebonized edge. One of the weighing platforms is embossed with postage rates.

Condition

- oxidation to metal; nicks and scratches in the wood.
