An antique Kelvin & Hughes sextant in a walnut box. This brass sextant circa 1917 comes presented in a latching walnut box featuring gold-toned finger joined corners and inlaid anchor motif to lid. The sextant is inscribed with ‘Kelvin & Hughes London 1917’ beneath a crown logo, and the box is unmarked.
Condition
- spots of discoloration to metal clasp on wooden box
- tarnishing and scratching consistent with age to sextant
