T. Ashbrook Carved Wooden Sculpture of Stylized Face

Item Details

A carved wooden sculpture of a stylized face by T. Ashbrook. This stained and polished sculpture depicts an enlarged, bulbous face with slender, carved facial features. It is affixed to a slightly angular base, the full form of which appears to be a conical finial. To the lower right edge is an inscribed monogrammed signature, reading ‘TA’, and is dated 1974. To the underside is a piece of olive green felt affixed for support.
