A signed limited edition offset lithograph Waiting for the Dawn by American marine artist John Stobart (born 1929). The print depicts a busy nocturnal harbor scene, lit by the full moon. A tall ship is docked to the left side as a horse-drawn wagon approaches. It is signed and dated 1987 in the plate to the lower right, and the title is printed to the center of the lower margin. It is signed and numbered 506 out of an edition of 950 in graphite to the lower right margin. Presented behind a beige silk mat with a gold tone wood liner, in a gold tone wood frame. A hanging wire is present to the verso.

Condition

- no glass present. Stains to mat and liner. Minor wear to frame.
