An original oil painting on canvas by contemporary American equestrian genre painter Ron Lightner, titled Man O’ War. The painting depicts a realistic view of a man holding the reins of famed American race horse Man O’ War in front of a picturesque stable building. The horse’s name is painted to the lower center margin of the piece. The piece is signed to the lower right. The painting is matted in brown and presented in a wooden frame with cast surface embellishments, gold tone tone finish, and a sawtooth hanger attached to the verso.
