A six-pieced collection of sterling silver flatware. This includes a pierced waffle server in the Ernest Meyers designed Francis I pattern, first introduced in 1907. It is presented with a spoon in the Harold E Nock designed Lady Mary pattern by Towle, a sugar spoon in the Della Robbia pattern by Alvin, a fiddle handled spoon by Wm Kendrick & Son of Louisville, KY (active 1873-1880), and a cocktail spoon. Also included is a pair of sugar tongs from England, stamped with a maker’s mark ‘WS’ and two hallmarks of a lion passant for sterling and a King George III duty mark, dating this piece between 1786 and 1821. Some handles have personalized engravings, and each is marked for silver fineness. They come with a two-tine fork with mother-of-pearl handle and sterling bolster. The total approximate weight, excluding the two-tine fork, is 13.260 ozt.
