Two 1968 "Kool-Aid" Free Toys Cardboard Signs

A pair of 1968 ‘Kool-Aid’ advertising cardboard signs. The two signs are from ‘Kool-Aid,’ one of America’s most famous beverage franchises. The signs highlight a marketing gimmick from 1968, reading ‘Free Toys’ in large yellow lettering with toys depicted, such as ‘Slide Projector,’ ‘Astro Scout,’ and ‘Magic Kit.’ The above toys were available to kids by mailing in empty packages of ‘Kool-Aid.’ The advertising signs are presented in multiple colors, with a light blue background. There are manufacturers’ holes at the top two corners for mounting purposes with black backsides.

Condition

The signs exhibit slight edge and surface wear. Slight soiling from age. Wear consistent with age.
