English Country Style Cherry Dresser

An English country style cherry dresser. This modern reproduction of a late 17th or early 18th century kitchen dresser is made of cherry with the upper hutch having a wide moulded cornice above a pierced frieze between the columnar side supports, with the back of the hutch being constructed from vertical tongue and groove planking behind the three long shelves. Below the hutch sits the base with five drawers below the over hanging counter with the three smaller drawers above a bin area with a pierced lifting door; with the two larger drawers being over triple panelled doors that cover storage areas; with the entire case resting on four front to back blocks scrolled in the front. Unmarked.
