A Continental School style oil painting on canvas of a floral still life. This well-rendered painting depicts an overflowing bouquet of carnations, roses and other flowers held in a goblet vase, which sits on a flat surface against a cool toned background. The bouquet emerges from the shadows with a bright highlight at its center. This painting is presented in a gold tone and black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- painting has been repaired in two sections of the canvas; frame shows wear; denting to canvas; staining to canvas verso; perforations and scuffing to frame verso; buckling to wrapped canvas.
