Gorham "Puritan" Sterling Silver Goblet and Assorted Sterling Silver

A Gorham sterling silver assortment. This includes a Lancaster fork with beading along the edge of the handle and a raised rose design at the tip that was first introdced in 1897. Also presented in the assortment are two large spoons in the Norfolk pattern with volute fluting on the edge and scrolled details at the tips that was first released in 1904. The assortment also includes a match safe with a hinged top, repousse scrolled details and a ribbing along the base. The case is marked with the number ‘1145’ along the rim of the opening. The fifth piece in the assortment is a vegetable serving spoon in the Corinthian pattern featuring a handle with a slightly pointed tip that flares out to a point and tapers in along the rest of the handle. The handle is decorated with a series of scrolled accents and plumes. The design was first introduced by Gorham in 1872. Also included is a an engraved baby cup with a pointed handle, and an engraved piece with a rounded top. The final piece is a Puritan goblet with a simple design featuring a flared lip, tapered well and simple pedestal support. The pieces all bear Gorham silver markings and weigh a total of 16.560 ozt total, excluding the sharpener, due to metal blade.
