Antique Porcelain Portrait Plates
Item Details
A pair of antique porcelain portrait plates. Featured is an Austrian hand painted porcelain plate featuring a depiction of Louis XV to the center on a cream background. The rim features hand painted red flowers with green leaves and gold painted flourishes on light blue. The plate has a blue beehive mark to the underside. Also included is a L S & S Carlsbad Austria hand painted plate with a portrait of the Marquise de Pompadour to the center and framed by a blue floral pattern rim with gold tone painted edges. It has a maker’s mark to the underside.
