A 1980 oil painting on canvas board by Wisconsin artist Robert Lahmann (1923 – 2014). The painting depicts several pedestrians walking behind a row of buildings, through a parking lot filled with vintage syle cars. It is signed and dated to the lower right. Presented in a matte gold tone wood frame with molded composite detail. A hanging wire is present to the verso.
Robert Lahmann was a mid 20th to early 21st Century Wisconsin artist known for his watercolor, gouache and acrylic paintings and drawings, primarily landscapes and portraits.
Condition
- canvas board is slightly bowed. Darkening to varnish of painting. Accretions throughout. Cracks and chips to composite detail of frame.
