Repurposed 105mm Tank Shell Umbrella Stand

Item Details

A vintage brass repurposed umbrella stand. This was made from a 105mm shell for the M68 tank gun used in the early M1 Abrams tanks. Cylindrical in shape with a tapering top and disc base, this modified shell has etched to the bottom ‘105mm XM150, 1962’ with a lot number, with ‘For Gun M68’ and other lot numbers stamped over top.

Condition

- tarnish to metal with sticker shadow to center; some oxidation to base and underside
