A 1960 charcoal on paper copy drawing after the original Youth in a Cap by Italian artist Giovani Battiste Piazetta (1682 – 1754). The drawing depicts the profile of a young man, wearing a cap, his arms resting in front of him on an unseen surface. It is marked in graphite with the original artist and title to the lower left and is signed Lahmann and dated in graphite to the lower right. Presented behind a white mat, under glass in a stained wood frame. A hanging wire is present to the verso.

Condition

- extensive toning and foxing to drawing and mat. Minor wear to frame.
