A limited edition offset lithograph print on paper after the original 1990 painting by New Jersey artist Ginny Genova titled Tribute of Tears. The print, issued by the American Legion, depicts a still life image with an American Flag, a soldier’s helmet, roses and other items of remembrance placed against the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial in Washington, D.C. The print is signed in graphite and in plate to the lower right, titled in graphite to the lower center and numbered to the lower left as 202 out of an edition of 950. The piece also includes the American Legion symbol printed to the lower center. It is double matted in off-white and muted red and presented under glass in a black and brown wooden frame with hanging wire mounted to the verso. The frame backing includes a handwritten notation of ‘Presented by A.L. Post #344, Rockaway, NJ’, as well as an informational sheet about the work, signed by the artist.
