Item Details
An original vintage 1964 oil painting on canvas. The painting features a gloomy depiction of two women hugging each other closely, painted in washed brown paint with scratched texture and imagery. Small vignettes of figures painted in loose black linework line the edges of the composition. The painting is signed illegibly and dated 1964 to the upper right. It is presented in an angled wooden frame with fly-specked gold tone finish and a hanging wire attached to the verso.
Condition
- painting seems to be slightly yellowed with age. Scratching and chipping across frame.
