An oil on canvas painting by Lajos Rezes Molnár (Hungarian 1896 – 1989) of a young woman with a doll. The young woman is seated in profile wearing a purple headscarf and lace trimmed violet jacket and holding a costumed doll. It is signed ‘R. Molnár’ to the lower right and mounted with a white wood liner in a gesso on carves wood frame with gilt finish and is wired for hanging. Molnár lived and worked in Hungary and was known for his portraits and genre paintings.
