Catherine and Edward Ardizzone Stone Lithograph

A stone lithograph on paper created collaboratively by very well-listed French artist and illustrator Edward Ardizzone (1900 – 1979) and his wife Catherine. The print depicts an artist in his studio surrounded by sculptures and paintings as he works on a large canvas that reads, ‘BEST WISHES for XMAS from.’ The artists’ names are printed to the lower margin. The piece is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black finish and a hanging wire attached to the verso.
